Formerly the warehouse district, the Pearl District is Portland’s most popular neighborhood among out-of-towners who seek walkability, culture and the city’s top attractions. Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard embodies Portland’s eclectic nature and hippy charm. The walkable street is busy with block after block of vintage shops, quirky boutiques, and local cafes. While the neighborhood spans 12th to 60th avenue, you can find Hawthorne’s best from 30th to 50th avenue.
